ServiceNow is a cloud based ITSM tool which provides service management software as a service and greater flexibility in terms of functionality, customization, reliability etc. When it was first introduced it was an ITSM tool but now it more than just ITSM tool. 

ServiceNow also caters for IT Operation ManagementIT Business Management. It has robust cloud platform on top of which, any application can be built quickly. ServiceNow Platform is one of the biggest strengths of ServiceNow.

You can build a different type of application on this platform for HR, Finance, Security, Customer Service etc. This tool has already captured a great market share. Best thing is while implementing this tool in your organization you don’t need to think about infrastructure, servers, database, data centers, security etc all these are taken care by ServiceNow itself. you just need to focus on implementing the business requirement.

Today, ServiceNow is a full-fledged Enterprise service management (ESM) platform that has the unique ability to bring together incoherent functional areas and provide a single window of visibility across all of them. ServiceNow integrates easily with other tools. You can perform VMware Airwatch tasks, for example, from within the interface and ServiceNow also provides an app store of tool offerings from third parties. The capability of ServiceNow is endless, and new functionalities are getting added with every version release. 

Usually, ServiceNow releases two upgrade versions every year.
The first release focuses on the architecture, whereas the second release focuses on feature and functionality. ServiceNow has a state of the art architecture and does not give its clients any nightmare of availability or performance. The company claims and have proven to provide 99.95% availability.

Whether you run an IT-focused business or deal with IT within your company, chances are you have heard the name ServiceNow mentioned somewhere in the recent past. This is because ServiceNow has been labeled as the “fastest growing company” as its sales shot up 38% to $1.4 billion in 2016 and finished in 2017. The company has made tremendous strides in the last decade to become synonymous with service delivery for corporate businesses. More recently in 2017, the technology research firm Gartner named ServiceNow among the market leaders in the ITSM field.
